BVDM: carbon value of print products less than 1% of carbon footprint.

03 August 2021

The association Bundesverband Druck und Medien e. V. (bvdm) determined in a study how much CO2 is emitted by the manufacturing printing industry in Germany. As a result, the bvdm arrives at a value of “less than 1 per cent of the carbon footprint… a person leaves behind in this country per year”, according to the association. Read the bvdm report here.

In its report, the association also refers to further industry initiatives in the field of sustainability. Those include the climate initiative of the printing and media associations as well as the opportunity for customers to opt for carbon-neutral print production.

Druckhaus Kaufmann has been offering its customers climate-neutral production in cooperation with ClimatePartner for almost 10 years by supporting internationally recognised climate protection projects.
